Welcome to our online home

At Cliftonville we aim to provide a caring learning environment in which all children receive a broad and balanced curriculum and are given opportunities to grow into independent and responsible people.

We are very fortunate in having supportive staff and Governors who are dedicated in making as sure as possible that our children lead a happy and meaningful life. We encourage parents to participate in their children's education and to support us in the high standard of work and behaviour we expect in order to develop our school within the local community.

Ofsted 2009

For two days in February of 2009 we were visited by Inspectors from Ofsted. Their comments on the school include the following:

"Cliftonville Primary School is a good school."

"Pupils behave well in class and around the school. Relationships are positive. The school works hard to ensure that pupils are well cared for and that all pupils, including the most vulnerable, are well supported."

Uniform Reminder

All children must wear correct school uniform including appropriate black school shoes. Sweatshirts or jumpers must be royal blue. No other colour is acceptable. Sweatshirts bearing the school logo are available from the school office priced from £8.50 to £10. For further details please see Uniform Policy by clicking the link below.

This is the entrance to Cliftonville Primary School.
This is the main reception where all visitors to the school have to sign in.
We can have breakfast and play games at the Before School club.
We have our lunch in the main hall.
We read books and use the computers in our lovely Learning Resource Centre.
We learn how to use computers in our ICT Suite.
We learn all about music in the Conference Suite.
At lunch time we can visit the homework club.
We have a special room where we sometimes work in small groups.
This is where our Learning Mentors work.
Year 1 pupils get the chance to practise their reading skills.
This is the family room where parents and carers sometimes come for coffee mornings.

When the weather is nice the infants visit the outside classroom.
